From Lochem we headed next to Kootwijk to the west of Apeldoorn. To get past Zutphen we headed south to the ferry across the Ijssel between Bronkhorst and Brummen. Typical of the many ferries across the canals and rivers of the Netherlands this is a chain ferry. İStephen Dee 7 Aug 2002 ID P8070137

Camping Kerkendel was posh - it had an outdoor pool. Ceri-Siân and I stayed here for a week in 99, and she wanted to go back. Although she enjoyed it, she enjoyed the simple sites better. At least she could have a Shepshed bath! İStephen Dee 8 Aug 2002 ID P8080151
